Mari is the managing partner of AKARI SAS. She is responsible for all aspects of the firm's strategy, and operations across our global network.
Mari works with local and global clients advising on topics relating to strategy, business performance improvement, agribusiness, organization design and effectiveness, as well as business transformation. She has worked extensively with clients in a range of industries, especially Bioenergy and Education. Mari has also led pro bono efforts for several not-for-profit organizations in Colombia.
Profile and Summary of Experience
Mari has more than 11 years of experience in the area of investments, mainly in the area of smart agriculture and business consulting.
She has participated in the evaluation and advice of companies from different economic sectors in Japan, Colombia and Ecuador, specifically addressing the environmental requirements of projects in the area.
In 2019, she established AKARI SAS in Cali, Colombia, having as her last position of Managing Director. She was part of the team of a government project (Japan, Colombia and Ecuador) in agriculture for 5 years in relation to aspects of business compliance.
Also, Mari has several experiences of carrying out specialized scientific translations in different biosanitary branches that are in charge of the translation (Spanish, Japanese and English) of articles for magazines, whitepapers or webinars, medical essays, scientific books and manuals, theses of different specialties, scientific-technical apps and a long etcetera.
